How to Apply

We would like to make your application and acceptance to Boston University's online Master of Criminal Justice program as smooth and effortless as possible for you. To help you with your application, we have outlined the admission requirements and the application process below.

A completed application for the Master of Criminal Justice program at Boston University package includes the following components:

A completed application form;
A self-evaluation (short essay of 500 words discussing your motivation for study);
A current résumé;
Official transcript(s) from each college and graduate school attended; and,
A non-refundable $70 application fee (please make check payable to Boston University).

Embanet is the online education partner of Boston University. Embanet requires a certain amount of information from prospective students and/or persons requesting further information about its online programs in order to respond to your queries, assess and evaluate your suitability for enrolling in the online program, and, if you decide to enroll in program, evaluating your enrollment application. This includes: contact and identification information, such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address; information concerning your education history, including degrees granted and Universities attended and employment history; application information relating to Programs, including credit information for payment of application or deposit fees; and business relationship information including information related to your preferences, feed-back and information requested by or provided to you. Embanet does not sell or rent any of your personal information to any third party. However, if you have applied to an online program, we will disclose personal information to Boston University to the extent necessary to provide you with the relevant services. We may also disclose your personal information where required to do so by law.
