Danielle Rousseau - MCJ Program

Boston University’s Metropolitan College Master’s of Criminal Justice is really a unique program and I think an exciting one. One of the strengths of the program as I see it is the practical experience that the faculty brings to the table. So many of us have worked in the field and worked in the field for many years, for decades. I think the social justice focus of many components of the Master’s of Criminal Justice program really offers a unique capacity for students to have empathy. It makes it exciting and really easy to engage and to have, you know, fantastic and productive discussions. It teaches critical thinking and critical assessment skills that are valuable no matter what you do, but are certainly applicable to working in the field of criminal justice.
